The Junior boasts a unique Open design, to afford the carer a full, unobstructed view of the special needs child’s head, trunk, pelvis and legs. The Junior’s contoured seat, with integral memory foam pad, can be tailored to suit the unique special needs of your child or loved one as it firmly holds the tuberosity of the ischium in place, thereby stabilizing the pelvic posture This method of support is found to offer benefits of muscle tone reduction and stability to even the highest toned children. Also on the subject of pelvic posture, the junior’s 4-point lap strap can provide a 45 degree pull, in order to further achieve stability and prevent the child from slipping forwards in to a sacral seating or sideways, resulting in pelvic obliquity.

Last but not least, with both carer and special needs user in mind, the Junior system’s pads are designed to flip away smoothly, without removal necessary, enabling quick and painless transfer, whether the user is self transferring, being lifted or being hoisted out.
